The Right Therapy for You
As a mental health professional, I am committed to being respectful, compassionate, and providing high-quality care to my clients. I have the necessary qualifications and experience to provide the best possible treatment and therapy. I believe that every individual should be validated and listened to, and that together we can find the path to healing.
In my practice, I work with a variety of treatment approaches that are tailored to each client's individual needs. Two of the popular forms of therapy I utilize for my clients are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing therapy (MIT).
Cognitive behavioral therapy is an evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and changing thought patterns and behaviors that are creating difficulties in a person's life. Through CBT, clients can learn to manage their thoughts and reactions in order to gain control of how they feel and respond to life's challenges.
Motivational interviewing therapy is a style of counseling that supports clients in making positive behavioral and lifestyle changes. This type of therapy is focused on uncovering the individual's personal goals and helping them to reach their full potential. It strives to empower the client and provide them with the skills and motivation to make their own decisions.
